Nourishing ourselves, nurturing our world. The Real Coconut Kitchen was born inside Sanará and is the first expression of how Sanará feeds people: food that nourishes and is easy on the digestion, that people would happily eat every day. A cleanse no one noticed they were on.
Everything is free of gluten, grain and dairy, with menus built on sustainably sourced, low-impact ingredients, and everything made from scratch. Produce and proteins come from small local farmers, and wild-caught fish from this coast. People who were not looking for healthy food came anyway, for the pancakes, the tacos and the view, and happened to feel very good afterwards.
The Points Guy named it among nine brunches worth travelling the world for. The kitchen grew into a cookbook, Nourish Yourself, Nurture Our World, a product range on shelves across the United States and Canada, and kitchens in Tulum town and Malibu.

The Real Coconut Kitchen returns to its own space on the beach in Tulum from December 2026, with brunch and music at the weekend and themed dinners through the season. The Tulum kitchen and its menus →
Where Sanará goes next, the kitchen goes with it: as the Real Coconut Kitchen, or as a Sanará Kitchen shaped to the place, on the same philosophy.
Tell the kitchen anything specific when you book and you will be looked after. Nourish and Heal guests eat every meal here on the plan they choose.

Sanará is in residence in Tulum, in its original space, from December 2026. Other places are in conversation.
