The Sanará shala at sunrise, doors open to the sea

Sanará Wellbeing.

A wellbeing brand, curated and hosted by Daniella Hunter, with the Real Coconut Kitchen. Sanará at La Zebra, Tulum is its first home. Sanará Wellbeing is what travels.

True wellness is a way of being.

The morning programme from sunrise, overlooking the water. Food that lets your body rest. A holistic, integrative approach to wellbeing, built around the way we relate to everything we take in, learned here and taken home. Rooms designed to promote wellbeing. And a team whose care you feel before you notice it.

Sanará at La Zebra, Tulum.

The first home of Sanará Wellbeing: in residence from December 2026, through 2027 and beyond. The rooms, the shala, the Wellness Center and the Real Coconut Kitchen, on the sand where it began.

Welcome Home Week · 6 to 13 December 2026

The opening week begins on 6 December. Join us, and be part of the opening ceremony.

Where it comes from.

Sanará began on a stretch of sand in Tulum in 2014: nineteen rooms, a shala overlooking the water, a spa and wellness center, and a kitchen that people crossed the world for. Harper's Bazaar placed it third among the 150 greatest hotels in the world.

Sanará returns to that space in December 2026, in residence at La Zebra through 2027 and beyond. Tulum is the first home of Sanará Wellbeing, and the place the rest is measured against.

"We all have access to true wellness, in our sense of being and perspective. All it requires is a mindset shift, liberating ourselves from who we are to where our souls are leading us."

Daniella Hunter

Sanará is curated and hosted by Daniella, with the teachers, therapists and friends of the house who made it what it was. Wherever it goes, it goes with the same standard: the practice, the table, the treatments and the care.

A gong in the shala, the sea beyond

Where it is going.

Sanará Wellbeing is made to travel. Beyond Tulum: other hotels and residences that ask for it, pop-ups in places we love, events and gatherings through the year, and Sanará Wellbeing brought into houses that are not ours, under our name and to our standard.

Hotels, residences and partners who would like to talk about Sanará in their place can write to hello@sanarawellbeing.com.

Practice, nourish, heal, connect.

Practice

Sunrise meditation and morning classes in the shala, overlooking the water. Sound healing and workshops at sunset.

Nourish

World-renowned cuisine at the Real Coconut Kitchen: gluten, grain and dairy free, made from scratch. The kitchen that grew into a cookbook and a product range.

Heal

The Sanará wellness programme: the signature massages, Ayurvedic-inspired treatments, consultations, and the Nourish and Heal programme for those who want to go deeper.

Connect

Community gatherings on the beach and in the shala, themed dinners, and the people you meet: like-minded, and here for our collective wellbeing.
