at La Zebra, Tulum
Curated and hosted by Daniella Hunter, with the Real Coconut Kitchen. In residence from December 2026.

For ten years this stretch of sand was Sanará: nineteen rooms, a shala overlooking the water, a spa and wellness center, and a kitchen that people crossed the world for. Harper's Bazaar placed it third among the 150 greatest hotels in the world.
Now Sanará returns to its original space, in residence at La Zebra, with Daniella Hunter curating and hosting every part of the integrated wellbeing experience. The guests who loved it are already asking.
Wellbeing woven through every day, at whatever depth the guest chooses. Some come for a retreat. Many come for a beach holiday and leave having slept, eaten and breathed differently for a week.
Sunrise meditation and morning classes in the shala, overlooking the water. Sound healing and workshops at sunset.
World-renowned cuisine at the Real Coconut Kitchen: gluten, grain and dairy free, made from scratch. The kitchen that grew into a cookbook, a product range and kitchens in Tulum town and Malibu.
The Sanará wellness programme: the signature massages, Ayurvedic-inspired treatments, consultations, and the Nourish and Heal programme for those who want to go deeper.
Community gatherings on the beach and in the shala, themed dinners, and the people you meet: like-minded, and here for our collective wellbeing.

The Ground Floor and Upper Level Beachside Suites and the Master Suite, set between the palms and the sea. Walk barefoot between the shala, the Wellness Center and Real Coconut Kitchen.
Rooms designed to promote wellbeing, free of toxins and fragrances, with amenities by Daniella Hunter and Sanará's welcome in the room on arrival. Guests of the Wing receive 15% off their first treatment, and the Sanará Concierge shapes each stay from the first message to the last morning.
The Sanará Way was never a spa you visited or a class you booked. It was a way of being.
The morning programme from sunrise, overlooking the water. Food that lets your body rest. A holistic, integrative approach to wellbeing, built around the way we relate to everything we take in, learned here and taken home. Rooms designed to promote wellbeing. And a team whose care you feel before you notice it.

The Sanará treatment menu returns: the signature Sanará Breathe and Relieve massages, the Sobada Maya, the Palo Santo Ritual Healing, Ayurvedic-inspired treatments and the Sanará Holistic Facial, delivered by therapists trained in the Sanará Way. Consultations on nutrition, sleep and lifestyle. Holistic, integrative, personal.
Guests of the Wellbeing Wing receive 15% off their first treatment, and the Sanará Concierge shapes each stay from the first message to the last morning.

Hosting a retreat →
Real Coconut Kitchen was born inside Sanará, and soon grew bigger than it: food that nourishes and is easy on the digestion, that people would happily eat every day. Gluten, grain and dairy free, made from scratch, and cooking for any dietary need or preference. It returns to its own space on the beach, open to guests and to anyone in Tulum, from breakfast to dinner.
